Safety Guys provides custom designed systems to suit the needs of any jobsite. At Safety Guys we tailor our services to your needs.

Our safety programs encompass all trades, and in turn we provide contractors with complete control over jobsite safety. This eliminates hazards, reduces accidents and substantially decreases overall costs, while increasing productivity. Our Turnkey Methods work because we supply full-time labor and materials for the duration of the project. Multi-lingual and OSHA-compliant training is also provided.

PERIMETER RAILINGS

Strongly recommended on concrete construction (vs. our cable system), our OSHA compliant perimeter wood railing system uses 2” × 4” lumber for top-rail and mid-rail, with 1” × 4” lumber used as a toe board. Our proprietary quick-fit system allows our safety crew to work swiftly with other trades in providing controlled access to the leading edge. Safety Guys employs its quick-fit system whereby vertical posts are easily inserted and removed to allow other trades (e.g., window installers, masons, etc.) to do their work without damaging or removing an entire section of railing and jeopardizing safety.

Typically, orange debris netting is attached to the railing for extra protection to minimize loose debris from blowing off the building.

All materials will be recycled to the upper floors where needed when permanent edge work is completed.

HOLE COVERS

Safety Guys’ diligent crew assures that all holes greater than 2in are safely covered and properly marked. Various hole covers are available.

Our ¾” plywood hole covers can be fastened down to the deck, or the hole cover can be cleated for easy removal while maintaining its position over the hole. Metal plate hole covers are strong, durable and clearly marked. All hole covers are maintained by Safety Guys and recycled to the upper floors to maximize cost efficiencies.

TEMPORARY STAIRWAY RAILINGS

Safety Guys provides materials and labor to construct an elevator shaft deck to maximize safety and to eliminate long, open areas of elevator shaft from top to bottom. We recommend our crew install these plywood safety decks every 3 floors to protect against long falls. Our trained crew can also waterproof the decks to minimize water damage and maintain maximum safety.

ELEVATOR SHAFT PROTECTION

Safety Guys furnishes materials and installs a very unique safety railing / barricade at each elevator shaft opening that is easily removable to accommodate the block masons, elevator installers and drywall installers.

Materials get recycled to the upper floors as soon as permanent doors are installed to take full advantage of cost reductions.

ELEVATOR INCLINE DECKS

Safety Guys provides materials and labor to construct an elevator shaft deck to maximize safety and to eliminate long, open areas of elevator shaft from top to bottom. We recommend our crew install these plywood safety decks every 3 floors to protect against long falls. Our trained crew can also waterproof the decks to minimize water damage and maintain maximum safety.

ELEVATOR JAMB PROTECTION

Safety Guys provides materials and labor to construct elevator jamb protection that prevents scratches, dents, and other damage to the elevator jambs while your project is still under construction.  With a hard wood exterior and a soft Styrofoam interior, our precision jambs keep your elevator jambs just like new.

BUCKHOIST LOADING DOCKS

Safety Guys will furnish the materials and labor to construct a pre-designed loading dock able to receive 2 tractor trailers with a ramp, stairs, and overhead protection. Typical measurements are approximately 15ft X 30ft. As always, Safety Guys will work with you to design a loading dock that best-fits the space requirements of your job-site.

BUCKHOIST WINGS AND RAMP

Safety Guys will furnish the materials and labor to construct wings and decks at each stop for the buckhoist to prevent drops and falls. Safety Guys will work with you to create a plan that fits your building.  We love creating custom applications, so bring us your best!

ENTRANCE CANOPIES

We furnish materials, labor, and identifying signage to construct a one-of-a-kind movable canopy for all workers to enter safely into the building.

This cost-efficient overhead protection has strategically located cables that make this proprietary system portable. The unique portability of our system allows you to reuse the canopy and save money by utilizing a single canopy at various points of entry on an as-needed basis.

The entrance canopies come with a clearly marked bi-lingual construction entrance sign (English and Spanish).

Standard canopy size measures 20′ long by 8′ wide. As always, Safety Guys will work with you to design an entrance canopy to meet the specific needs of your jobsite.

CRANE PROTECTION

Our crane protection system prevents uninvited people from tampering or climbing the crane. Safety Guys will provide materials and labor to construct an 8ft high plywood wall with a gate around the crane to maximize protection and minimize job-site risk.

CONCRETE PUMP PROTECTION

Safety Guys will provide materials and labor to construct overhead protection for the concrete pump. This will help prevent falling debris from potentially damaging the concrete pump.
